Jamaican born photographer, Colin T. Bent has used a variety of cameras over the past fifty years.  From the Kodak Brownie to the Canon he now uses, he has observed numerous changes in technology; however, his passion for the art of photography and individual expression remains constant as he reveals the images he discerns through the lenses of his camera. 

Colin, a Broken Arrow resident since 1978, recently traveled to Ecuador where he photographed the lush landscape, tropical forests and many indigenous people living along the tributary of the Amazon River.  This trip provided the opportunity to capture the essence of another culture through photojournalism.  For his photography in Ecuador as well as images captured on the local scene, Colin has received many accolades for the quality and creativity of his work.
